5 Spiritual Books that Completely Changed my Life…
I have read hundreds of spiritual books but these five books have been the most life changing for me.
These life changing books have made such a profound difference in my life experience that I feel the need to share them with anyone interested in self exploration and consciously co-creating reality.
In fact, I only have one of these books in my possession because I am constantly loaning them out to people. I know better than to expect them to be returned but I really don’t mind because I have internalized the wisdom found in them.
1) “Ask and it is Given” -Abraham Hicks
“Ask and it is Given,” by Jerry and Esther Hicks, is the first book in the Abraham Hicks series.
In the book Abraham (a collective entity channeled by Esther Hicks) describes the importance of emotions in manifesting our desires in life.
Abraham offers a very practical way of transforming our emotions by using the “Emotional Scale.”
She explains that the law of attraction makes it very difficult to go from an a very low vibrational emotion (ie. fear and depression) to an extremely high vibration emotion (joy and appreciation), and offers a practical solution to gradually improve our state of min.
This book was extremely practical for me. I understood the value of feeling joy and appreciation before discovering this book, but I did not know how to practically achieve those emotions.
“Ask and it is Given” taught me how to raise my vibration gradually, and eventually I started to feel higher emotions such as appreciation and love much more often.
When I was able to maintain a higher state I found that things just started to manifest without me even trying.
2) “The nature of Personal Reality” – Jane Roberts
“The Nature of Personal Reality” is the fourth book written in the Seth Series. Seth is an entity channeled by Jane Roberts in the sixties through the nineties.
In the Seth Books I read the term, “You Create your own Reality” for the first time, and it was mind blowing.
I have read all of the Seth Books and love them all, but this book became my personal bible for using the law of attraction.
In “The Nature of Personal Reality,” Seth explains exactly how our thoughts are projected into the three dimensional reality to create our life experience.
This book taught me the importance of choosing my thoughts rather than letting them choose me.
After reading it I could never see my life in the same light again. I stopped viewing myself as victim of my life circumstances and set about changing my life by chaning my thoughts and beliefs.
3) “Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself,” -Dr. Joe Dispenza
I recently discovered Dr, Joe Dispenza a few years ago and his material has been absolutely life changing.
“Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself” explains how traumatic experiences and negative beliefs about ourselves get stored in the body. This makes it difficult to stop relieving our past.
Dr. Joe explains that these feelings become so familiar we don’t feel like ourselves if we don’t have them. For me, that emotion was guilt.
He explains that simply using affirmations is not usually effective. You must retrain the body to a new experience.
He offers a solution through meditations. The book is full of them, and his meditations are the best that I’ve been able to find since doing this kind of work.
4) “You can Heal your Life,” – Louise Hay
In the book “Heal your Life,” Louise Hay shares her personal journey to self love. She explains that it began when her husband left her for a twenty year old when she turned 40.
Louise goes into depth describing the correlation between self love and the body. She even explains how she healed herself of cancer by practicing love.
She does an eloquent job of explaining how important and practical it is to love oneself and how it literally makes all the difference in one’s life.
I consider this book fundamental for anyone wanting to learn how to love oneself.
5) “You’ll See it when you Believe it,” -Dr. Wayne Dyer
Wayne Dyer was the first “self help” person I came across in my journey. I really love all his books but “You’ll see it when you Believe it” resonated with me the most. In this book Wayne explains how our thoughts create our experience.
As the title says, Wayne demonstrates that in order to change our reality we must first change our beliefs about it. He also offers many practical methods on how to do so.
If you are on a spiritual journey and want to learn how to use the law of attraction to enhance your life experience, these books are definitely worth checking out!
